What should I do if I fail to link my RedotPay card on platforms like Apple Pay, PayPal, Google Pay, or Facebook?

  • After activating your card, RedotPay will sync your card information with platforms like PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Facebook. Most users will be able to use their card within 2 days (some may take 3–5 days). In some cases, syncing may take more time. If a transaction fails, please do not attempt multiple retries, as this could be flagged as suspicious activity and result in your card being frozen. Please wait for a while before trying again.

  • For PayPal and Facebook: If you're still unable to link your card after several days, ensure that the name on your PayPal/Facebook account matches the name on your RedotPay card, and that you're using the same billing address. Then try linking again.

  • For Apple Pay: We recommend switching your Apple Store region to Hong Kong before attempting to link the card again.
