Private ads are visible only to the people you share them with. They're accessed through a unique link or QR code and don't appear in the public P2P Marketplace or in search results.
They work the same way as public ads, but give you more control over who can see and take your trades — which makes them a good fit for larger transactions or trading with people you know.
Who Can Create a Private Ad?
Both General Advertisers and Verified Advertisers can create private ads.
General Advertisers: Up to 20 private ads per currency
Verified Advertisers: Up to 200 private ads per currency
Who Can Trade Through a Private Ad?
Any user with the private ad link or QR code can access the ad and place an order, including regular users and advertisers.
Users must complete identity verification and pass applicable risk checks before an order can be completed.
How to Create a Private Ad
Before publishing your ad, choose how you want it to be displayed:
Public: Visible in the marketplace and searchable by users
Private: Hidden from the marketplace and only accessible through a link or QR code
Select [Private] to create a private ad, then share the link or QR code directly with your counterparty.
Fees, Limits, and Ad Validity
Private ads follow the same rules as public ads:
Fees: Same fee policy as public ads (currently zero fees)
Trading Limits: Subject to the same trading limits and platform rules as public ads
Ad Duration: Same validity settings as public ads
Link Validity
If a private ad expires, is canceled, or becomes invalid, its link and QR code will no longer work.
In this case, users will see the message:
“The link is invalid or has expired.”
Can I Restrict Access by UID?
No. Private ads cannot be restricted to a specific UID.
Anyone with the shared link or QR code can access the ad, and additional access controls are not currently supported.
