What Is Know Your Transaction (KYT)?

RedotPay is committed to high compliance standards across the digital asset industry. To help keep transactions transparent and secure, we run a Know Your Transaction (KYT) program that screens for high-risk activity.

What KYT does

We screen transactions in real time. If we detect suspicious or unlawful activity, we may take action — including holding a transaction for review, freezing an account, declining funds, collecting additional materials, or reporting the activity to the relevant authorities.

Prohibited activity

You may not use RedotPay for any illegal activity. This includes, but isn't limited to:

  1. Breaching economic sanctions — transactions that may violate sanctions set by bodies such as the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the U.S. Department of the Treasury, or the United Nations Security Council.

  2. Activity linked to crime — including fraud, stolen funds, terrorist funding, child abuse, or ransomware.

  3. Unusual transaction patterns — for example, withdrawing funds immediately after a deposit with no clear reason.

If a transaction is flagged, it may be held while we review it.
