RedotPay P2P Trading Code of Conduct

These rules keep P2P trading fair and safe, and set clear standards for how to trade and what happens if someone breaks them. They apply from the moment you register and cover all use of RedotPay P2P.

Who This Applies To

Everyone using RedotPay P2P — individual users and advertisers — across all local currency trading pairs.

User Guidelines

If you're buying

  1. Pay with a method the seller supports, within the time limit. Then tap [I have paid].

  2. Pay from an account in your own name. Other accounts aren't supported unless the seller agrees — and if you both agree, you accept the risk of potential losses.

  3. Never tap [I have paid] before you've actually paid. This counts as malicious order blocking and can get your account restricted.

  4. Keep all trade chat on the platform — it protects you if there's a dispute.

  5. Unless you agree otherwise in the P2P chat first, you cover the sending fees and the seller covers the receiving fees.

  6. Choose instant payment methods where possible. If you need to use a non‑instant method, get the seller’s consent first.

  7. Don't put sensitive words like "BTC," "cryptocurrency," or "buy crypto" in the payment note.

  8. Paid and tapped [I have paid], but the seller didn't release the crypto in time? File a dispute and contact support. If you followed the rules and share valid proof (payment screenshots, chat records), we'll review it and may release the assets to you.

If you're selling

  1. Keep all trade chat on the platform.

  2. Use a receiving account in the same name as your verified RedotPay account.

  3. Once you've received full payment and checked the details, release the crypto within your set time limit.

  4. Don't ask the buyer or support to cancel an order without the buyer's consent.

  5. Don't dispute an order's price after it's created without the buyer's consent.

  6. Stay reachable while you have open orders or disputes
