Trading on RedotPay Trade involves two fees on each filled order: a trading fee and a builder fee charged by Hyperliquid. Other fees may also apply, including a one-time account activation fee charged by Hyperliquid.
Fees
All trades are executed via Hyperliquid with a transparent, all-inclusive fee structure (on each filled order):
Maker total Fee: 0.115% (Base Execution Fee 0.015% + Builder Fee 0.1%)
Taker total Fee: 0.145% (Base Execution Fee 0.045% + Builder Fee 0.1%)
How It Works:
Fees are collected directly by Hyperliquid per order. Hyperliquid will share with RedotPay Trade will add a 0.1% as Builder Fee according to business arrangementon top of Hyperliquid’s base fees, which is collected and distributed by Hyperliquid to RedotPay Trade by the protocol.
Base execution fees may decrease depending on 14-day trading volume tiers or VIP status. For full details on base volume tiers, please visit the Hyperliquid Fee Schedule.
How the total fee is calculated
For a filled order:
Total fee = filled value × trading fee rate + filled value × builder fee rate
where filled value = execution price × quantity filled.
Example. You fill an order worth 10,000 USDC as a taker, with a 0.045% taker fee:
Trading fee: 10,000 × 0.045% = 4.5 USDC
Builder fee: 10,000 × 0.1% = 10 USDC
Total: 14.5 USDC
What affects your actual cost
HYPE staking discounts may lower your trading fee.
Perpetual futures and spot use separate fee tables, so the tier that applies depends on which you trade.
Referral discounts and your maker/taker order type also affect the total.
Other fees
Activation fee: Hyperliquid charges a one-time 1 USDC account activation fee on your first deposit. It's charged only once.
Withdrawal fee: set by Hyperliquid's withdrawal rules. Currently waived during beta.
Funding rate
Perpetual futures have no expiry date. The funding rate keeps the contract price aligned with the spot price:
When the funding rate is positive, longs pay shorts.
When it's negative, shorts pay longs.
Hyperliquid calculates funding continuously and settles it periodically, based on how long you hold the position.
