Identity checks are required before you can use RedotPay. To ensure a smooth process, iOS users should be on version 12.2 or later.
Step 1: Enter your basic information
Tap your profile picture (top left).
2. On your profile page, tap the arrow to open your personal details.
3. Select [Identity verification].
4. Fill in your country/region, first name, last name, and date of birth, then tap [Next].
If you don’t see your country or region, check the unsupported countries list in our Help Center.
Step 2: Verify your ID document and face
Tap [Identity document] to upload your ID.
2. Select the issuing country and document type. Only document types listed on the screen are supported.
3. Once your ID document is approved, follow the on‑screen steps to complete face verification.
4. After the face scan, the system reads your document details automatically. Double-check your nationality, name, date of birth, and ID number.
If your recognized information is incorrect
If your recognized information is incorrect
This review page can't be edited directly. If something is wrong, tap [Continue] to finish the current submission.
Then go to [Profile] - [Identity verification] - [Personal details] and tap [click to apply] at the bottom to resubmit. For account security, this update can only be used once every 180 days, so please proceed carefully.
Step 3: Add your address and complete the questionnaire
1. Enter your complete, accurate, and current residential address. If your area has no postal code, enter 000000.
2. Complete the short questionnaire (4–5 questions, about 3 minutes). Choose the options that best match your occupation or main source of funds. If none fit, select [Others] and add a brief description.
3. Tap submit to start the review. This usually takes a few minutes.
If you're asked for additional documents
As a standard account-protection step, the system may occasionally request supporting documents (such as a personal statement, source of funds, or source of wealth).
Check your in-app notifications and follow the instructions to upload them. We recommend uploading everything at once — we review submissions within 1–3 business days.
Submit any requested documents promptly, generally within 14 days (per the actual notice). If you miss the deadline, your verification will be marked as failed.
