To increase your account security, we recommend using Google Authenticator. This adds a second layer of protection when you perform sensitive actions, like viewing your card details or changing security settings.
Setup Steps
1. In the RedotPay App:
Tap your Profile icon (top-left corner).
Go to [Security] - [Google Authenticator].
Tap [Set up Google Authenticator].
2. Save the Backup Key
A Backup Key will appear. Copy and save it in a safe place. You will need this if you lose your phone or need to restore access.
3. In the Google Authenticator App:
Open Google Authenticator and tap the [+] icon.
Choose Enter a setup key.
Name the account (e.g., "RedotPay") and paste the Backup Key.
Tap Add.
4. Complete Verification
Return to the RedotPay app.
Enter the 6-digit code shown in Google Authenticator.
Enter the verification code sent to your email or phone to finish.
Important Tips
Backup Key: If you lose your phone, the backup key is the only way to recover your account access. Store it offline or in a secure password manager.
Code Expiry: The 6-digit code in Google Authenticator refreshes every 30 seconds. Ensure you enter the current code immediately.
