Managing Your RedotPay Card Security Settings

Updated over a week ago

RedotPay offers several security settings in the app to help protect your cards and account.

Set which balance is used first

Open the RedotPay app and go to [Profile] > [Payment Settings] > [Payment Priority]. From there, drag the payment accounts or use the arrow buttons to change their order.

Set which cryptocurrency you spend first

You can control which cryptocurrencies are used first for withdrawals.
Go to [Profile] > [Payment Settings] > [Payment Priority] > [Currencies Priority Sorting], turn off currencies you don’t use, and adjust the order.

To turn a currency back on, tap the + icon.

Set spending limits for your card

You can choose how much you’re able to spend with each card. Set your per‑purchase and daily limits under [Cards] > [Limits], and customize them separately for every card you have.

Set Payment controls (online, offline, ATM)

You can choose where your card can be used.
Go to [Card] > [Settings] > [Security Settings] to turn online transactions (web and third‑party wallet payments) and offline transactions (POS payments) on or off.

If you have a physical card, you can also enable or disable ATM cash withdrawals.

Choose which currencies your card can use

You can select which currencies your card can use for settlement.
Go to [Cards] > [Settings] > [Security Settings] > [Set Transaction Currencies].

All supported local currencies are enabled by default. If you turn a currency off, transactions in that currency will be declined because they cannot be settled.

Temporarily freeze your card

You can temporarily block transactions on a card at any time.

Go to [Card] > [Freeze] to stop new purchases with that card; other cards are not affected.

A frozen card may cause payment or order failures, and some fees may still apply. To start using the card again, return to the same screen and unfreeze it.
