The difference between a USD and HKD card is the currency used for billing and settlement. RedotPay used to offer both, depending on your region and other eligibility criteria. From January 21, 2026, all new cards are issued in USD.

USD card: all billing and settlement is in US Dollars.

HKD card: all billing and settlement is in Hong Kong Dollars.

3. Check the top-right corner on the back of the card. The currency code shown (USD or HKD) is your card's currency.
