I See a Charge I Don't Recognize. What Should I Do?

Most unrecognized charges turn out to be legitimate. Here are the most common explanations:

  • Settlement adjustments: When you make a card payment in a foreign currency, the final amount may differ slightly from what you saw at checkout due to exchange rate fluctuations.

  • Recurring charges: Subscriptions, memberships, and other recurring payments may charge you on a different date than expected.

  • Pending authorizations: Some merchants place a temporary hold on your card before processing the final amount.

If you've identified the charge as a recurring service or subscription you want to cancel or dispute, contact the merchant directly to request a refund. Once we receive the refund from the merchant, we'll credit it back to your RedotPay account.
