Noticed a charge you didn't make? Here's how you can protect your account:
1. Freeze your card
Freeze it right away to stop any further charges. Go to [Card] - [Freeze].
Note: If the card is linked to any subscriptions, cancel those with the merchant first. Otherwise, you may see failed charges (and possible fees) once the card is frozen.
2. Check the charge
Check your transaction history for anything you didn't authorize. Sometimes an unfamiliar charge is a forgotten subscription or a merchant listed under a different name. If you recognise the merchant, contact them directly to report the charge and ask for a refund.
3. Requesting a chargeback
If a charge can't be resolved with the merchant, you may be able to request a chargeback. For more details, please see How Do Chargebacks Work?
4. If charges continue
Still seeing charges you didn't make after freezing? You can delete the card in the RedotPay app to help prevent further losses. go to [Card] - [Settings] - [Delete card].
Never share your full card details (number, expiry, CVV) or enter them on sites you don't trust.
