An accurate device clock is required for the RedotPay app to work correctly. If your phone's time is set manually or has drifted, you may experience login issues. Setting your clock to update automatically resolves this.
For iPhone (iOS):
Open the Settings app and tap [General].
2. Tap [Date & Time].
3. Turn on [Set Automatically].
For Android:
(Note: Exact menu names may vary slightly depending on your device).
Open the Settings app and tap [Additional settings].
2. Tap [Date and time].
3. Turn on both [Set time automatically] and [Set time zone automatically].
Notes:
Automatic time updates require an active Wi-Fi or cellular data connection.
If you set the time manually, turn off automatic time settings first—otherwise your manual change won't stick.
Always confirm your time zone is correct, especially when traveling or right after a daylight saving time change.
