Your security is our top priority. Use this guide to learn how to spot common scams, verify official emails, and keep your RedotPay account secure.
1. Verify the Sender
Scammers often "spoof" email addresses to look like official RedotPay communications.
Check the domain: Official emails only come from
@redotpay.com. Domains like@redotpay-support.comor@redotpay.vipare fake.Use the verification tool: Cross-check any sender address via the verification channel on our official website.
Check for the badge: In the RedotPay app, tap Contact Support. Verified messages will always display an official badge.
2. Guard Your Sensitive Info
RedotPay staff will never reach out via social media or messaging apps to ask for private data.
We will NEVER ask for:
Wallet recovery phrases or passwords.
Full card numbers, CVV, or expiry dates.
Crypto or fiat transfers to "safety" addresses.
How to handle suspicious requests:
Don’t click links or download attachments in unexpected emails.
If you receive a suspicious email, download the .eml file (via the "View Original" or "Download Message" option in your email provider) and submit it to our support portal for review.
3. Enable Your Anti-Phishing Code
Your Anti-Phishing Code is a unique security phrase that confirms an email is genuinely from RedotPay.
How it works:
Once enabled, this code will appear in every official RedotPay email.
If an email is missing your code or the code is incorrect, do not click any links. It is a phishing attempt.
Set it up now:
Log in to your RedotPay account.
Go to [Profile] - [Security] - [Anti-phishing code].
Set a unique code that only you know.
Think you’ve encountered a scam? Don't wait, contact our customer support team immediately through the app.
