RedotPay’s Response to Recent Apple Pay Service Adjustment

Updated over a week ago

Following Apple’s recent review of Hong Kong’s “Cards-as-a-Service (CaaS)” programs, effective August 22, 2025, certain service providers are required to make technical adjustments to suspend Apple Pay enablement.

RedotPay cards already added to Apple Pay remain unaffected and continue to function as normal. Existing RedotPay cards bound to Apple Pay do not need to be replaced or removed, and daily transactions are not affected.

RedotPay will continue to work closely with partners to ensure users have access to diverse and convenient payment experiences going forward.
