Understanding Your Credit Limit (For v3.0.0 or later)

Updated yesterday

💡 Version Note: This article applies to v3.0.0 and later versions.

What is the source of my credit limit?

Your credit limit comes from the value of the cryptocurrencies you hold in your RedotPay account.

The basic formula is:

Available credit limit = Asset value × LTV − Outstanding balance

Which cryptocurrencies can I use to get a credit limit?

Only some cryptocurrencies can be used to calculate your credit limit. Right now, the supported assets are: BTC, ETH, SOL, TON, TRX, S, XRP, and BNB.

USDT and USDC (stablecoins) do not count toward your Credit limit at this time. Even if you hold them, they will not increase your available Credit.

How can I increase my credit limit if it’s zero or low?

If your limit is zero or very low, you may need to add more supported crypto.

Go to [Credit] and tap [Increase Limit]. From there, you can:

  • Deposit more supported cryptocurrencies into your account, or

  • Swap your existing USDT/USDC into supported assets (for example, BTC or ETH) to increase your limit.

How can I exclude specific cryptocurrencies from my credit limit calculation?

After you activate Credit, tap [Available Credit] to see how much each asset contributes to your limit.

You can remove any cryptocurrencies that are currently counted toward your limit but are not yet pledged. When you remove an asset:

  • It stays in your balance, and you can still use it.

  • It simply stops counting toward your credit limit.

Credit provided by RedotPay must be repaid according to the terms. Failure to repay may result in additional fees and impact your account usage.

You have to repay your loans. Don't pay any intermediaries.
