Getting Started with Instant QR Payments

General Information

Which QR codes does RedotPay currently support?

We currently support merchant QR codes that follow national payment standards, like VietQR in Vietnam and QR PH in the Philippines. These are the same codes used by many local banks and wallet apps.

Note: Limits are subject to change.

QR payments work at most in-store merchants. If a code won't scan, it usually belongs to a bank, wallet, or closed system RedotPay doesn't support.

How do I scan to pay?

1. Open the RedotPay app and tap the scan icon in the top-right corner.

2. Scan the merchant's QR code.

3. Review the recipient and amount, then tap [Pay now].

Note: If the merchant hasn't set an amount, you can enter it yourself.

How is the payment amount calculated?

The amount is converted from the local currency using the real-time exchange rate at the time of your transaction.

Transaction Issues & Refunds

If a payment fails, will I be refunded, and how long does it take?

If a payment fails because of a system or merchant issue, it's usually refunded to your USDT balance automatically. Most refunds complete within 10 minutes, though some can take 24 to 48 hours.

What should I do if my order status is "Processing"?

This is usually a temporary network or system delay, and no funds are deducted if a payment doesn't go through. Wait a moment, then refresh the status. Avoid rescanning or retrying, so you don't create a duplicate payment.

The app shows my payment succeeded, but the merchant hasn't received it. What should I do?

Payments are usually confirmed within 10 minutes. If the merchant still hasn't received it after that, it may be a network or channel delay. Wait a moment and refresh the order status. If it still hasn't gone through, contact support for assistance.
