What Does the “Reversal” Status Mean on My Transaction?

A “Reversal” means a transaction didn’t go through and has been voided, so the amount that was on hold is released and your balance stays the same. The status usually changes from “Authorized” to “Reversal” within 1–5 days. When this happens, the original transaction stays in your history for that day, but its amount is shown as 0 instead of creating a new entry.

To check it, open the RedotPay app and tap […] next to Transactions on your home screen to view your history.

Partial reversals

If the merchant finalizes the payment for less than the amount they first authorized, the difference is automatically reversed and released back to you. Whether the reversal is full or partial, the held amount is only released once the merchant completes their final settlement.
