Why Is My Refund Amount Less Than What I Paid?

When you pay with your RedotPay card, a transaction fee (around 1%) is added on top of the merchant’s price. The merchant only receives the purchase amount, not this fee.

When the merchant issues a refund, they return the amount they received, which doesn’t include the original transaction fee. That’s why your refund can be slightly lower than what you initially paid.
