RedotPay prioritizes user security and recommends never sharing important card details (e.g., card number, expiration date, CVV) or entering card information on insecure websites. If you suspect card fraud, please follow these steps:

  1. Freeze Your Card

Immediately freeze your card to prevent further unauthorized transactions.

To do this, go to the RedotPay app: Card > Freeze.

Note: Before freezing the card, it’s advisable to unbind it from any merchant platforms to avoid declined transactions and potential fees.

  2. Verify Transaction Records

Review your transaction history to identify any charges you did not authorize. Check the merchant name in the transaction details for clarity.

  3. Contact the Merchant for a Refund

Using the merchant name from the transaction details, reach out to the merchant to report the issue and request a refund.

  4. Initiate a Chargeback

If the merchant refuses to refund the charge, keep a record of your communication. You can apply for a chargeback through RedotPay customer service.

Note: Chargeback services are subject to a fee. Please refer to the Chargeback Process | RedotPay guidelines for further details.

  5. Monitor Your RedotPay Account

If unauthorized transactions continue after freezing your card, consider deleting the card to prevent further losses.

To delete your card, go to: Card > Settings > Delete Card.
