If the transaction is successful, the status will change from Authorized to Cleared, which usually takes 1-2 days, indicating that Visa has completed settlement.
If the transaction is successful and the user initiates a refund, the status may change from Authorized to Cleared then to Refund. Change from Authorized to Cleared usually takes 1-2 days. After Cleared, the refund period is generally calculated from the time of initiating the refund within 2-15 days.
If the transaction fails, the status may change from Authorized to Refund, which usually takes 1-2 days. After it changes to Refund, the money will generally be returned in the original way. The arrival time is generally 2-15 days from the time of initiating the refund.
Authorized transactions require waiting for the VISA to process, and some may require waiting for 30 days, which is determined by the merchant's cancellation of authorization rules.
2. A transaction with a Declined status will not deduct the user's assets. Generally, the authorized amount of the transaction is seen, but in reality, due to the rejected transaction, the assets have not been deducted and a refund is not required.
